Puppet Playtime March 2024

Puppet Playtime March 2024

Join us for Puppet Playtime!

Puppet Playtime gives children aged 3 to 5 the opportunity to engage in a new experience of storytelling and puppetry. Each session features a popular children’s book, with an acclaimed WA performer presenting the story in their unique performance style.  This can include puppetry, musical accompaniment, object theatre, movement and dance, and more. The world of puppetry is vast, and attendees will learn about a new element of puppetry each month. Each session, children will craft a puppet designed by our talented puppetry professionals.

This month’s feature story is Littlelight by Kelly Canby.

About Littlelight
Illustrated in moody black and white with dynamic neon highlights, this is a visually striking and thought-provoking tale of tolerance and acceptance. As bricks go missing in the town of Littlelight, the story unfolds to reveal a powerful message about keeping an open mind, questioning authority, and the impact of one person making a positive difference.
