Rhys Healy is a Boorloo/Perth-based theatre practitioner and production all-rounder working across live performance, festivals, and screen arts. Graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Theatre Arts) in 2025 and through his work both FRINGE and Perth Festival, he brings hands-on experience spanning lighting, sound, stage management, set and prop construction.

Alongside his degree practice, Rhys has recently completed a year-long production internship with Black Swan State Theatre Company, where he has been able to hone his theatre production skills and knowledge.

As well as backstage production, Rhys has also studied as a performer and director during his time at Curtin and was awarded Best Performer in a Major Production for his role in The Belly at the Blue Room Theatre.

Rhys is passionate about theatre for young audiences, interdisciplinary storytelling, and creating work that is imaginative, accessible, and engaging.
