Artistic Director of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Philip Mitchell said this is an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and contribute to the fun experience for families attending the Show.
“This is the natural extension of our growing relationship with the Royal Agricultural Society of WA, with our current theatre seasons being hosted at the showground in the Ellie Eaton Theatre and adjacent pavilion. We are buzzing with excitement, ready to take part in one of the biggest events of the year,” he said.
About The Queen Bee
Immerse yourself in a hive of creativity and fun as you craft your very own buzzing companion – a charming bee puppet that’s uniquely yours.
Once your bee creation is ready to take flight, venture into the enchanting theatre. Will you be able to spot the illustrious Queen Bee amidst the colourful blossoms and radiant petals? With a regal wave and a warm smile, she welcomes you to her buzzing realm.
Puppet making stations are open from 10am to 2pm; then bee on the lookout for short Queen Bee performances at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm.
An un-bee-lievably fun experience for everyone, especially for kids aged 3 and up.
