Announcing the 2025 Puppet Playtime Program

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is thrilled to unveil the expanded 2025 season of Puppet Playtime, our acclaimed early years program designed for children aged 3-5.

Since its launch in 2023, Puppet Playtime has delighted families by blending puppetry, storytelling, and hands-on creativity to inspire young imaginations and create cherished memories.

What’s New for 2025?

The 2025 program has been enhanced to offer more session times and greater flexibility for families, running from February to November. Here’s what to expect:

  • Four days per month: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
  • Four sessions per day: 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm.
  • Each session runs for 60 minutes.
  • Budget-friendly tickets: $12 per child, with accompanying adults attending free of charge.


We’re also excited to present a refreshed lineup of stories, featuring five new tales and five returning favourites for a delightful mix of discovery and nostalgia.

Each month introduces a new beloved book brought to life through the magic of puppetry and interactive storytelling. Here’s what’s in store:


What is Puppet Playtime?

Puppet Playtime is an interactive experience specially crafted for children aged 3 to 5. Designed to nurture their creativity and love for storytelling, each session brings a beloved children’s book to life through the art of puppetry.

Through puppetry and play, young participants are encouraged to explore their creativity, develop curiosity, and foster collaboration. The hands-on activities and engaging storytelling inspire a lifelong love of learning and an appreciation for the arts.
