Join us for Puppet Playtime!
Puppet Playtime is an interactive experience specially crafted for children aged 3 to 5. Designed to nurture their creativity and love for storytelling, each session brings a beloved children’s book to life through the art of puppetry.
This month’s feature story is Giraffe’s Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae
About Giraffe’s Can’t Dance
Gerald the giraffe longs to join the Jungle Dance, but his knees are far too crooked and his legs are rather thin. With a little encouragement from a wise friend, he discovers that everyone can move when they find the right music. This heartwarming classic is a colourful celebration of self-confidence and finding your own unique rhythm.
LISTEN: Gather round as our talented performer presents the story in their unique performance style.
CREATE: Explore the story and its themes through creative play activities. Adults / caregivers are essential to this part of Puppet Playtime and at every session there will be something to create and take home to treasure.
PLAY: Engage in puppet play, making sounds and music, games, and other interactive play. Listen to the story retold with your creation in hand and see your child’s imagination soar!
