Marionettes & Memories

We invite seniors in our community to join us for a cuppa, try their hand at puppeteering, engage in conversation, and share memories.

Marionettes and Memories will welcome seniors into our Creative Learning Centre in Fremantle. Each participant will be asked to bring an object from home that has a special resonance or story for them.

Sessions will begin with our Associate Director Michael Barlow sharing the captivating history of marionettes and showcasing select pieces from the Spare Parts collection, before inviting you to try your hand at manipulating our exquisite puppets. Next, participants will be invited the share stories relating to the object they have brought, sharing precious memories in a supportive and respectful environment.

Marionettes and Memories is free to attend, however spots are limited, and bookings are essential.
